Prague City Street
This is one of the great pleasures in Prague, I can wander in the city and still find streets that are completely empty, even when you would think that every street is jammed with eager tourists snapping away. I tell friend not to stop at the main tourist area for coffee or a beer, just walk another 100 or 200 meters and you will find a good Czech place to sit and eat or drink. I find in general the Czech places more friendly, cheaper, and tastier.
This city is beautiful and walking is the best way to see it.

I’ve just read Vaclav Havel’s memoir ‘To the Castle and Back’….and would love to visit Prague. 3 of my children have done, but I can’t seem to cut loose and travel. I’ve been drawn to the Camino site and hence to this….and am glad you’ve made the effort to share what you’ve discovered….thankyou from Melbourne, Oz ![]()
