Poll: Czechoslovakia’s split was correct

A tight majority of Czechs say the split of Czechoslovakia into the Czech and Slovak republics as from January 1, 1993, was a correct step, according to a CVVM poll.

Most Czechs want to ban smoking in all restaurants

Over a half of Czechs wish an absolute ban on smoking in restaurants, according to a poll conducted by students of the Medical Faculty of Prague’s Charles University.
